Peer Educators in Karamoja Region equipped with Work Aids.

AMICAALL Uganda Chapter through the Prevention of HIV & AIDS in the communities of Karamoja (PACK) project funded by Irish Aid and implemented through a consortium of 4 partners Organizations l.e Straight Talk foundation, NAPHOFANU, TASO and AMICAALL.  The project was aimed at contributing to the reduction of new HIV/AIDS infections amongst adolescents and young people aged 10-24 year in the District of Karamoja. To achieve the above AMICAALL has worked with peer Educators as change agents in the community.

Peer Educators from the Seven (7) Urban Authorities of Abim, Amudat, Nakapiripirit, Amudat, Kaabong Town councils and the municipalities of Moroto and Kotido were equipped with works aids in August to ease their work. The work aids included boots, rain jackets, bags, facemasks, umbrellas, Hand sanitizers, cooperate shits among others.
