Objective 1: To build the technical and institutional capacity of local governments in the Karamoja sub-region to plan, manage, monitor and provide oversight to HIV response in their respective areas of jurisdiction.
OBJECTIVE 2: To strengthen the coordination of multi sectoral responses to HIV/AIDS in the 5 local governments in the Karamoja region by May 2016
OBJECTIVE 3: To enhance advocacy, sustainable leadership and commitment for HIV response in the 75selected Local Governments by May 2016.
Objective 4: To create sustainable enabling environment that mitigates the underlying social cultural, gender based and other structural drivers of the epidemic.
Objective 5: To develop and implement a functional Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) system at AMICAALL and the implementing districts for improved HIV information management by May 2016
The Alliance of Mayors and Municipal Leaders’ Initiative for Community Action on AIDS at the Local Level (AMICAALL) is an association of African Mayors and other Urban Leaders formed to support sustainable solutions to the HIV and AIDS.
